Fun Run Rules
The fun run is a timed event with a 5km and 10 km course.
Event
The fun run competition will consist of:
5km course
-
Women’s individual event
-
Men’s individual event
-
Open teams event.

10km course
Women’s individual event
Men’s individual event.
Shield Points
The total Shield Points available will be based on the formula contained in the General Rules. The points allocated to each event will be distributed evenly.
Format
This event will be held on Wednesday morning
A runner may compete in
-
both the 5km individual and 5km open teams event, or
-
the 10km individual event.
A team can comprise a total of four runners.
The 5km and 10km event will begin at the same time.
The start and finish line is at the same location
Results
The winning team will be decided on the average time of the first three team members’ finishing positions. If two or more teams are equal, their positions will be determined by the third runner’s finishing position.
Equipment Requirements
There are no specific equipment requirements.
Drink stations will be provided along the course.​
